Event & Wedding Logistics
- Dogs are allowed at ceremonies with prior approval but must be supervised at all times and remain on a leash.

- Yes. Due to our Development Approval (DA) requirements, all weddings must have a dedicated planner who works with our in-house team.
- Sun Ranch can host up to 150 guests for weddings and events. For a limited number of events per year.
- We have several covered spaces available for ceremonies and receptions. Your event planner will assist in creating a seamless wet-weather plan.
Food, Drinks & BYO
- Our dinners are reserved for staying guests and their invited guests.
- Occasionally, we host community pop-up dinners curated by local and traveling chefs. These special events are announced via Instagram and our newsletter—follow us to stay updated!

- No BYO - Sun Ranch is a licensed venue.
- Each room has a mini bar, featuring Luna Wines and top-shelf spirits at bottle shop prices.
- Breakfast is included and served in The Lair from 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM.
- Food and drinks are available from 11 AM – 7 PM at the Ranch Kitchen & Cowboy Bar.
- Mini bar dry goods are available in-room
Parking & Transport
- Yes, day visitors may park on-site, but space is limited.
- We kindly ask that all visitors register their vehicle in advance
- Non-staying guests must arrive and depart via a designated 56-seater event coach.
- No guest drop-offs or pick-ups are permitted outside the property entrance.
- Yes, but parking is limited to staying guests only. Each accommodation has designated parking.
Payments & Policies
- 2025 Event Bookings: A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking once the quote is approved. The balance payment must be made 60 days prior to the event.
- 2026 & Beyond Bookings: A $5,000 non-refundable deposit is required but transferable to another date, subject to availability.
- Payment Milestones for Events & Weddings:
- 9 months prior to the event: A 50% deposit must be paid.
- 60 days prior to the event: Full payment is required.
- For bookings made within 60 days of the event: Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
- Payments must be made via credit card or bank transfer.
- No security bond is required for single room bookings, but a credit card must be provided at check-in for incidentals.
Private Tours & Venue Viewings
- Sun Ranch is one of Australia's most sought-after wedding and event destinations. Experience the beauty and charm of our property firsthand by booking a private tour.
- Enjoy a 1-hour guided tour of our stunning venue for $150.
- This cost will be credited towards your event should you proceed with a booking.

Venue & Property Usage
- No fireworks, sparklers, or open flames are allowed due to fire safety regulations and environmental considerations.
- Yes, but all external décor and furniture must be approved by Sun Ranch to ensure it meets our aesthetic and sustainability guidelines.
- All decor, furniture, and equipment brought onto the property must be fully removed post-event. Any leftover items or rentals must be collected the following morning to maintain the property's pristine condition.
- Drone use is not permitted without prior approval.
Check-In & Stay Policies

Sun Ranch operates on a minimum stay policy:
- Single room bookings require a 2-night minimum stay.
- Event bookings require a 2-night minimum (mid-week) or 3-night minimum (weekends).
- Last-minute 1-night stays may be available mid-week only, subject to availability. Contact us if you have a special date in mind, and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
- Check-in: From 3:00 PM
- Check-out: By 10:00 AM ($100 per hour for unapproved late check-outs).
Accommodation & Facilities
- A non-drinking nanny or babysitter is required for every 4 children under 12 at an event.
- No more than 12 children under 12 allowed per event.
- Dogs are not allowed at events unless pre-approved. If permitted, they must be on a leash and supervised.
- No, rooms are not serviced daily as part of our commitment to sustainability.
- Fresh towels are available upon request—just ask our staff if you need extras.
- Yes. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in barns only with a $150 fluff fee per stay.
- Dogs must be on a leash outside and not aggressive toward humans or livestock.
- Sun Ranch offers on-site luxury accommodations for up to 34 guests across 17 rooms in 11 spaces:
- 6 x two-bedroom luxury off-grid barns
- 4 x pool suites
- 1 x private suite
- All beds are king size (no split beds available).
- Wi-Fi is available in all accommodations and communal spaces.
- Mobile reception varies depending on your provider, with Telstra offering the best coverage.
